Maintenance Stop
Water Features designed around Mother Nature's Ecosystem do not require a lot of maintenance. If you prefer the "hands off" approach, we offer weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly maintenance services.
- Weekly: $38/hr + materials
- Bi-Weekly: $58/hr + materials
- Monthly: $78/hr + materials
Maintenance stops include 1 man hour and $38 per man hour thereafter. Nearly all maintenance stops are 1 man hour.
- Trouble - Shooting Maintenance
- Serenity Waterscapes strives to assist owners with trouble-shooting issues over the phone or email as much as possible. We will run through many scenarios to alleviate the problem. We do make trouble-shooting calls for $45 per 1/2 hour. Please call or email to set up a service call.
- Seasonal Maintenance (winter prep & spring open)
Spring
- The Spring Open consists of draining the water, catching fish, clear pond and stream of all debris, trim plants, power wash rocks, check for leaks around the pond's edge, install pump, tweak waterfall/stream, check fittings, replace underwater light bulbs (as needed), install new filters (as needed), add water, add water additives for fish health, and release the fish. A $78 service charge covers the first man hour; $58 there after per man hour. Any materials needed would be extra. The average spring open takes 4-6 man hours. Need more plants - we can plant them for you during the spring open! Ask when you schedule!
20 Steps to a Successful Spring Start-up
Late Fall/Winter
- Serenity will perform all services upon request from complete cleaning (like Spring service) to a simple winter prep for the season.
- Winter Prep Clean Out:
- Consists of draining pond, catching fish, clear pond and stream of debris, trim plants back for winter, move lilies, remove filter media, add water, remove pump, replace fish, install winter aeration. Same prices as Spring Clean Out. Any materials needed will be extra.
- Basic Winter Prep:
- Consists of removing pump, and installing winter aeration. Any materials needed will be extra. $45 charge for this service.
- Vacation Maintenance
- Going on vacation and need someone to watch over the pond? Basic level vacation maintenance is $45 for 1 stop and includes adding bacteria, feeding fish, adding water if necessary, and cleaning out skimmer net and filter. Other services can be added for additional fees. Homeowner is required to have water treatments and fish food on hand. Please make sure access to a hose if available.
